You will have to get in your bed at night. And the next morning you
will have to get out of bed, on your showering-wheelchair. And after
using that, you will have to be dressed and be transferred in your regular wheelchair. With a
paralysed body that can be quite a 'drag'. This hoist is very helpful for that. It's made of a workshop-hoist and can lift up to 400 kg (880 pounds). That is more than enough for me! It runs on an iron tube (the same tube I used before) with ball bearings, so it can be moved easily. And do you see the rings I put my arms through? That are the rings of a gym. :) Pieces of foam in them to protect my arm pits...
